Enterovirus D68 Infection Pathogenesis
Typically causing the common cold, EV-D68 also causes the polio-like disease acute flaccid myelitis. We investigate how this happens.
Human Monoclonal Antibodies to Treat Acute Flaccid Myelitis
We have shown in mice that these therapies can prevent and treat AFM in mice. Now we are working to translate this to humans.
Enterovirus Cross-reactive Antibodies
By focusing on identifying human monoclonal antibodies that bind to many different enteroviruses, we hope to translate these findings to broader therapies and better vaccines.
